| - Let me first address the previous negative reviews re the Ashton- I moved to Charlotte in July 2016, and asked management about them before moving in- they told me that the transition to the new management team had "not been the smoothest", but they had more of a handle on it. After being in the building for 7 months now, I can say they've got it right!
Great apartment, both in terms of facilities and units. Lots of improvements since I've been here, security, lighting, responsiveness, amenities (exercise room redone ), and a general attitude of "make it right". The staff is as friendly as they come, and while I have only had minuscule maintenance required, it was done right away. Can't beat the location for access to the Light Rail, restaurants, and Uptown. Can walk anywhere.
I travel for work, and the secure building means I don't worry about being gone. Mix of all ages in the building, so you see a little of everybody. And in contrast to the "stick" apartments being thrown up all over town, these units are "tomb" quiet with the concrete construction.
All in all, very happy that I rented here.
