  • I am sure at one point Electric Earth was great. Heck, last fall it held a special place in my heart. The baristas that once worked there were very friendly and even contributed to the menu. (One of the baristas made a special Cap'n Crunch Latte that I will never forget.) The food was also decent and the baked goods fresh. However, as of January, things appear to have changed and all of the baristas are gone. The food is not the same. And the place has lost its charm for me. I was going to continue going to this coffee shop as it is the closet to me. However, two months ago something happened that made me decide to never go back. When I used my punch-card for a free drink, I ordered a large latte to go. As I walked away from the counter, I heard the current barista (who I assume is somehow related to the owner) ask the person assisting him in making the latte to make it a medium. Very shady.
