| - My parents and I were in Vegas and I was looking for a lunch/brunch buffet for us. I googled something along those lines and while looking through the options, I came across Makino. Japanese and sushi (yum), all you can eat buffet (!!) for only about $20 (sounds too good to be true!). We went there right after it opened on a Saturday, so about 11:40, and were seated right away.
They had quite a good range of options in terms of both sushi and other Japanese food. Various types of sushi rolls, nigiri, hand rolls made to order, salads, yakisoba, fried rice, chicken, fish, a ramen making station, udon, GOOD tempura, and various little desserts including coffee jello, ice cream, and little cakes. I wish I had enough room to try the ramen because that looked good. However, my favorites were the tempura and the nigiri (Saba, salmon, ahi especially).
My parents enjoyed the meal as well - good variety of food, decent quality, and really good price. Knowing my parents, we'll probably be back on our next visit.
