  • I have felt the need to write this for some time as I feel this place is dangerous. Don't go here. You might end up dead. I wrote a scathing letter to the owner a few years ago, after realizing how much I was duped into purchasing ill-fitting, overpriced, inappropriate, and unnecessary gear, and given horrible training in basic diving skills. I was heading to The Bahamas by way of Florida so I attempted to get my certification dives in Florida, but the master diver was shocked at how ill-prepared I was to dive and would not certify me. I ended up getting certified by padi in Thailand a couple months later and learned to love diving. You don't know what you don't know when attempting to learn how to dive so it's vital that those who teach it are honest. Wayne is not. He even had me purchase much of my gear in cash - I should've know that someone cooking his tax books should not be trusted with my life in his hands. I went to yelp when seeking a dive instructor in charlotte. I hope this review helps someone , maybe even save their life. Padi dive centers and instructors are reviewed annually - this place has no oversight. Be afraid.
