  • My experience with this dealership has been a complete and total nightmare that just will not end. My family is friends with Ken Ganley (owner of all of the Ganley dealerships) and I am a repeat customer, so if this review says nothing else, it will tell you that this dealership just really does not give a darn about customer satisfaction, retention, reputation or reviews. If I could give a negative five stars, I would. My first experience with this dealership was great. I started looking for another Challenger at the end of 2017 with a few more months to go on my lease. This time, the help was average at best. I met with one salesman who was horrible. He could not answer one question and left me sitting in his cube as he went off to help other customers intermittantly for 45 minutes at a time. After two and a half hours of nothing, I left. Following that experience, I went directly to BJ, the General Manager, who was much more helpful. BJ called me right away and said to come into the dealership, he would help me with my new lease. I get to the dealership and Josh, a salesman, ends up helping me. Josh did a great job taking care of us, explaining the features of the 2018 Challenger, BJ hooked up the stripes, all was great until a few days later when I was contacted to come back in to sign some papers they had forgotten to have me sign. A few days later I was called to come back again to sign more papers. The third time, I was just baffled at what was going on, and why on earth I would have to return AGAIN. Apparently this time a mistake was made with some numbers on my contract so I had to resign that paperwork too. In the meantime, the tags were about to expire from my previously leased car that I no longer had. I asked several times how I should handle this because no one told me anything and I was not given temp plates, temp registration, nothing! I was told to go to the BMV to renew the tags and that I would keep the plates from the other car. Long story short, I had been driving around with expired plates for almost two weeks before the BMV told me that it was the dealership's responsibility to issue this. I contacted BJ to ask him how this mistake could be made on top of all of the others. He proceeds to say something about me having vanity plates, which I do not have. I told him this combined with all of the mistakes in paperwork, causing me to have to return to the dealership three times, a mistake in the contract, AND now driving around with expired plates is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. I had to go back to the dealership AGAIN to have them remove my plates, put temp tags on, and give me the temp registration. And just when I thought it couldn't get worse they never paid off my final month on my first lease, as was written in the contract, that I verified TWICE with Jay and BJ, and consequently, my account with the lienholder went into default!!!! I called BJ about this and he assured me it would get straightened out, he would have Jay call Chrysler Capital and it would all be square. I was sent a copy of the check that was overnighted to Chrysler Capital by the office manager, and I followed up with Chrysler Capital every single day for weeks but the check did not post until almost a month later!!! BJ said they tried to call for me but couldn't resolve anything due to confidentiality. As it stands now, I will be checking my credit report to see if this delinquent status caused by Ganley's negligence has hurt my credit. ON TOP OF EVERYTHING, I was cleaning out my car the other day and found paperwork with personal info, signatures, driver's license numbers, addresses, deals they were offered to lease and purchase the car, etc. of the person who was looking to purchase my car before me. I am astounded that they would leave all of this in the car!!! Are they leaving other people's credit scores, addresses, photo ID's around in other cars??? I really cannot fathom how a dealership can be so negligent. I have worked with many, many dealerships in my life, all over the state of Ohio, and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. UPDATE: BJ has since offered to pull my credit to see if it was affected by their negligence in paying off my last car!!! NO THANK YOU!!!! I don't need MY personal information floating around for other customers to find!!! I have also notified BJ of all of the personal documents that were left in my vehicle from another customer; he contacted me after seeing this review. I took pictures of them and sent them to him. He didn't even ask if I would turn them in, shred them or destroy the person's personal information!! This is so UNBELIEVABLE TO ME!!!
