  • A wonderfully delicious place to have a hot steaming bowl of ramen!! I usually order the miso or tonkatsu ramen.... until I decided to order the "cold" ramen noodles on an extremely hot & sunny day. The cold noodles have been the only disappointment I've experienced at Monta. Even my sister, who lived in Japan for 3 years, said the cold noodles were different from what she's had before. However, she did say Monta was just like the traditional noodle houses in Japan! I agree with some reviewers.... at times, the broth has been on the saltier side. But that hasn't stopped me from returning on a regular basis. Monta is an excellent place to have a bowl of ramen and if you're really hungry, get a small side of the pork belly bowl, too. You won't be disappointed! Although a very small restaurant, the service has always been good and the dishes come out very quickly.
