  • I've been with Sprint for a long time and their customer service was always top-notch. Anytime I had an issue they would do everything they could to fix it. Last year in June I went in to this Sprint store because my wife's phone was acting up. I wasn't looking to upgrade because I was on a great unlimited plan. One of the sales people, Jonathan Avila, approached us and asked if we'd consider upgrading to a new plan so my wife could get a new phone. I told him I'd only upgrade if the plans were similar and it didn't end up costing me much more than I was already paying. Jonathan is one of those salespeople that will promise you the world, even though they know they can't deliver. Then, once you get your first bill you realize that they didn't deliver on anything they promised. In spite of my plan price decreasing monthly, the cost of the phone ended up being much higher than what Jonathan promised me. I went in to the store the next day to talk to Jonathan and he told me that the price would drop off on the next billing. Nope, it never did. I tried calling Sprint customer service a few times and they ended up telling me I'd have to go in to the store to have them fix the issue. Finally, I went in to the store and talked to two different employees who couldn't do anything for me and then the manager came out. She was probably the most condescending lady I've ever met. I told her I was upset because I was paying more per month than I was told by Jonathan. She tried to "explain" to me that I was actually getting a better deal because my wireless plan was cheaper, like I'm some kind of idiot who doesn't understand math. She asked me twice, "Sir, are you opposed to saving money?" I asked her to tell me how I was "saving" money when my total bill was $40 higher than I was paying before. I ended up asking her if Sprint was willing to lose a long-time customer over $20/month and she basically told me she doesn't care. So I guess Sprint is now in a position where it doesn't care if it loses customers to the other 3 carriers who are all beating it right now. It doesn't matter at this point what Sprint offers me, I'm not sticking with a company that treats it's customers this way. So I'd suggest you stay away from Sprint, and from this store in particular, unless you are a fan of bait and switch scams.
