If this would have been a larger museum it would have gotten 10/5 stars from me!! These are my favorite kind of museums, the touch and explore ones NOT made exclusively for toddlers (like many science museums). It was me and my boyfriend (both 20's) and our moms who went to visit and we loved it! There are so many things you can take pictures with like a self timing camera for a pic with a wagon as well as wagon you can sit INSIDE of with a movie in the window that makes it look like your moving! They have a telegraph you can play with and a camera that takes your picture and puts it on "money" (like a $5 bill) and emails you the pic. (In the very front in the right corner, don't miss it! We thought it was closed because it wasn't well marked but it was very much working and fun!)
In the mineral area you can see how heavy gold is to other minerals and an art gallery (no pics in there tho). It is quite small altho we spent a good 30 minutes in there because of all the photo opportunities! Make this a stop along the way because it's so fun but too small to be a "museum for the day" kind of thing. The lady at the desk was super nice and let us use their bathroom that she buzzed us into beside the front desk.
I would recommend this and I was pretty skeptical at first since it's a "bank's museum". Figured it would be in the lobby of the bank with only a few pictures hanging up to look at. This museum does not lead into the bank at all but it's right beside it. Will go again if in the area with more people visiting AZ!
