  • 24/30 When I'm homesick and I open my wallet and see my Peet's card (which is one stamp short of a free coffee), I head over to this Second Cup. Which isn't to say that Second Cup doesn't brew a decent coffee in their own right; they definitely do. If I were to judge them on a scale that compares them to shops that roast their own coffee in-house, they'd probably get 3 stars. But that wouldn't be fair. And mostly, I come here for a Soy Matcha Green Latté anyway. It's hella delicious. And it gets served to me with a genuine smile. Friendly staff, free wi-fi, Chesterfields and Caquetoires that don't smell like old coffee and funk, clean bathrooms and most importantly, great tasting drinks. I go to Peet's when I'm on the West Coast and I'm missing Second Cup ;).
