| - This was my first time staying at a J.W. Marriott. I'm not sure what the big differences is between a J.W. and a regular Marriott, but it seems like this one is a little bit more fancier. I over heard one of the guest mention that there are only 20 J.W. Marriott's around the globe, but I have yet to confirm that.
The hotel and the rooms themselves are immaculate! The hotel was surrounded by a running creek with huge fishes inside so every room has a beautiful view. Our particular suite had a bidet toilet along side the traditional toilet. It had a jacuzzi tub, two sinks, and two shower heads in our one shower.
The pool was HUGE! Even though there were a lot of people, you could swim around very comfortably. They even had a waterfall on one side of the pool, where the water is much colder than the rest of pool. That's probably cause the moving water keeps all the pee away LMAO! We got a pool cabana for about a $475 tab minimum. It didn't take long to reach our limit, being that we had a group of about 10 people. I normally drink beer, but on this hot day, I ordered their "Miami Vice," which was a strawberry piƱa colada that was slushy and very refreshing. I never once got a buzz, and I believe I had about 7 of them. I recommend ordering an extra shot in your fruity drink. if you want to feel the head change.
I had a great experience staying here and enjoyed being away from the typical Vegas crowd. You would have never known you were far from the strip being that this hotel has its own casino, but I must admit the crowd here is a "little older" lol.
