| - The wife and I went to the 7PM Cirque du Soleil "O" show on a Sunday night. I'd seen "O" once before not long after it opened in '98. We both enjoy Cirque du Soleil, having seen a couple shows together on previous visits to Las Vegas, but this was my wife's first time seeing it. Our seats were in Sect. 202, row T, seats 17 and 18, basically center stage with a perfect vantage point to comfortably view all of the action on the stage/in the water and high above from the ceiling of the theater.
To my recollection, the show has aged remarkably well. I don't know what, if anything, that may have changed in the show since its opening nearly 20 years ago, but the most memorable acts that I do recall from my previous viewing seemed unchanged. "O" is the signature Vegas Cirque experience. There's a reason why it's the hardest (and priciest) Cirque ticket to get. The staging is a technological marvel and certainly something you won't see in a touring Cirque show. The individual acts that make up the show are truly eye-popping. Both my wife and I found the show to be thoroughly entertaining and a breathtaking spectacle. In my opinion, you likely either love or hate Cirque du Soleil shows. If you love Cirque shows, then "O" must be at the top of your list.
