Sherwin-Williams is a fraud company. They will sell you a Quart of color for each sample you need and charge you $7 when you really want a small sample to try it out before buying the paint. I learned this the hard way when I visited this particular store. I remember discussing everything with the store representative (Alex) about what I was looking for. I don't remember she ever telling me that the sample size will be a quart and that they will charge $7 (applied $2 coupon for first time member) for each of 5 samples! Up on questioning the miscommunication she walks us to the front door which had an itty-bitty sign that samples will be charged! This is complete fraud on the part of Sherwin-Williams. Why not inform customers when they take sample orders that there will be a charge? Misinformation on part of store is same as defrauding a customer.
I logged an online customer complaint on Sherwin-Williams website and even call their 800 customer service. I was told that someone from district will usually call back and resolve the matter. I got a call after 2 weeks from Alex (the representative who sold me the samples in the first place) informing me that she had a discussion with the district manager and that they cannot help in anyway as they have a sign in front of the store that states samples will be charged!
This is such a pathetic customer service! The representative that didn't communicate properly was asked to manage my complaint that I made to the company! What a way to handle a customer complaint! Never go back to Sherwin-Williams again!
