  • Now I'm just pissed off. About a year ago, I went in and saw my hair stylist for some red and blond highlights and a haircut. We picked out the colors....About half way through when she spun me towards the mirror while still putting in foils, I realized she was coloring All my hair red and putting in blond highlights. Now I had explained earlier we talking about the colors I stressed I didn't want to do an all over color, because funds are always iffy for splurging on color, and I didn't want to have to keep up with touch ups and didn't want 2 toned roots to deal with. She was aghast when I pointed out that she wasn't supposed to color all my hair. Just put in highlights and low lights. , she stopped the process, put in a brown toner (which washes out) to "get back to original color and put in the highlights. But when it was all finished I still had red hair. She didn't charge me full price, but I was so disappointed, and to increase that disappointment she now could not do the haircut because it was time for her to leave, even though store was still salon was still open. I always loved how she cut my hair, I have a weird style, but I love it. When I was leaving, I talked to the store manager, she said the salon manager (who was gone) would get it fixed for me. I explained that I was dealing with my father in ICU, (He had 3 brain surgeries just days before. And I asked if I could get back to them when he got out of icu and settled. Of course the stylist, happened to come to the front as she was leaving and heard some of the conversation. They said no problem. My other reason for wanting to wait was to let some roots grow in so they could match my true hair color, to eliminate the root issue for good. Well it took longer that I expected he was in ICU for 6 weeks or so. I came in, got it fixed, no problem. Since then I've had my hair cut by my same stylist, no problem, everyone pleasant. So I was surprised when I made my another appointment, when a day later another stylist called and explained my stylist did not feel comfortable with me as a client, that they could set me up with a different stylist. So yes I'm pissed how unprofessional, you make a big mistake when performing a service and you can't face the fact me anymore or that your not perfect? You hide like a coward?! What a crybaby. The only reason I'm going back is because at least there are notes on how I like it cut. I got it cut by another stylist today. She did a pretty good job. However the old stylist totally pretended I wasn't even there even when I said hi to her. How unprofessional.
