I never leave Yelp reviews, but people need to know that they should stay away from this place. It's easy to get sucked in by the fact that they have the lowest price online, but they will try to get you to pay more at the counter and their rental process will try your patience. Maybe it's because we arrived on a Saturday, but it took over an hour of waiting in line to speak to an agent. I would have walked away but there were going to be penalties for canceling an online reservation. There were probably only 4 people working at the counter, and I felt sorry for them until we got called up and the agent tried to scare us into buying an extremely expensive insurance package. To top things off, the vehicle's check engine light turned on halfway through our trip. When we called in to ask what to do, we were told that it was probably just that the car needed routine maintenance.
Shouldn't rental cars be routinely maintained before being rented out?
Come on, Dollar Rental. You can do better than this.
