  • i wish I could give zero stars - like the reviewers before, he scammed our family out of thousands of dollars. We are a young family who paid a large sum of money to have our new home painted and re-roofed by Tom, not a small investment. From the beginning, the subcontractors were completely confused about what to do, clearly doing the bare minimum. Tom was nowhere to be found. When we pushed for a second coat of paint, or asked them to pick up the hundreds of old staples in our front yard from getting the old shingles down, they told us that Tom had told them to run our house "like a flip" - wow, it's not a flip, it's our family home! My husband and I had to argue with the subs every step of the way to get things finished, and the first time it rained, we had leaks in THREE places. After months of emails and phone calls with Tom and him sending out various incompetent individuals to "fix" the leaks, we would up with significant mold damage... Which we discovered a few weeks before having a baby. We filed a complaint through the ROC so he is inaccurate when he says he has never had a complaint. Simple fact. You can look up our complaints. He tried to pay us $750 to "go away and drop the issue" - his email was quite threatening. We refused. He never really resolved it, just poured more and more tar over the incorrectly installed shingles. I will add pictures to show the terror of his "repairs." Now, three years later, our three year old roof cannot pass a sellers inspection because his guys installed every single shingle incorrectly. He still takes no responsibility. Please for your own sake and home, BEWARE!!!!!
