| - If there was any such thing as a "budget" Vegas trip - this is where you should stay. Our stay was $99/night and included 2 show tickets. Granted, the show (American Superstars) was retarded... but a show is a show.
It's on the strip, but isolated on one side - so if you are going to Vegas for action, you'll have to cab it around to get where you need to go. Cabbing it kind of sucks, and you'll probably spend just as much on cab rides as you saved on the room.
BUT, if you are coming just for gambling, then this is a great spot. The casino is pretty big and fully stocked with all the tables and machines you would be looking for. It's not crowded, and doesn't have the high minimums like the posh hotels towards the middle of the strip. Even on Saturday Nights, there were $5 blackjack tables, and usually 1-2 seats open. It also had a really good mix of people there, so playing the tables was always fun.
The rooms were basic - nothing fancy, but if you were expecting more from a $99 room in Las Vegas...
