  • For years me and family members have driven past here and have always wanted to try the experience. I pretty much guessed beforehand going into this that the place would be a little divey since after all it's a pub, however I wasn't prepared for how my meal here went. Walking up to the entrance you see their patio area for pets which I think is a cute idea but then seeing the grass having huge divots and holes with standing water in them going stagnant made me feel like I would never want my dog to visit here. Then came walking inside. We waited to be seated since there is a sign kindly requesting you wait to be helped, well waiting we did, then waiting some more & some more which felt strange since there was only maybe 10 other guests there tops. The hostess was kind, I was surprised to see how hiked up her skirt was but again I thought "well this is a pub in Las Vegas" so I wasn't upset. She was kind enough to take our drink orders and return with them a short time later, when she came back she took our meal orders: bangers & mash and fish & chips. We then waited a long time to see the hostess/waitress again it was about 40 minutes for our food, which wouldn't have been a big deal if the food we got back was hot and appetizing. The bangers & beans were Luke warm and the mash was cold with cold gravy where it's more like meat flavored jello than gravy. The fish & chips were okay in the sense that yes it's fried and a huge piece of fish but I wasn't expecting it to be soaked in oil when I received it and the side of peas appeared fine until I watched a small fly crawl out of them and fly away. Trying to make the best of it with my guest we decided to have the food be taken away and we dared enough to try dessert which was probably the only thing we did enjoy. The things I failed to mention through out this review is that while sitting there the entire time we really took in how filthy the place is with holes in the wall, dirty light switches and scuffs everywhere and creaky filthy floors & A LOT of spider webs everywhere A LOT. The tables are spaced out about 2 ft apart which wasn't a big deal, but my prior mention of the hostesses uniform made it uncomfortable when she bent over to fix up the table next to us which was also odd considering the place setting I was seated at was already dirty from someone else eating on it. I think the worst part of all was leaving their one way parking lot and seeing the back door being held wide open with a rope, immediately all of my food handling knowledge & certifications kicked into high gear knowing that open doors are a EXTREME no no because it allows pests of all kinds directly in. All & all its not a place I would go back to and it made me feel awful that I actually invited someone to join me without checking it beforehand, I won't be returning & nothing could make me desire too. So much more happened but I'm done talking about it. I dined in on 10/10/15 around 2:45pm
