  • Had a very nice experience at Aveda today. I'm a no muss, no fuss type of person. I just want my hair cut, evenly, with a bit of texture. I've recently gone short, an "A-line Long Bob", if you will. Went in today for my appointment (booked online 48 hours previously), and explained my needs. It was already overgrown from my last bob-cut, so I instructed to just trim mostly, but keep the back shorter than the front. Neck base to collar bone, basically. My stylist did an amazing job. Her instructor was there, at least 50% of the time, showed/taught her every next move, and when she second guessed herself, stepped in. Not being so picky, I'm happy to help these students learn, and get a deal at the same time. I may question chem services there, I won't lie and say I saw a few girls who looked clueless with their dye bowls and clients. But a simple cut, give them a shot!
