Wow!! Loved this place. Old historic hotel in uptown. We went for brunch and this place looked high end and pricey. It is, but so worth it. I have been dying for pork belly and this place offered it to me in the form of breakfast!!! So, I had a Mamosa and the boyfriend had a bloody Mary both good but both not included in our brunch. Our waiter was slow and took a little long coming back to us. I then ordered the Pork belly, egg, and cheese Sammy. Omg, the pork was porky, and salty and fatty and so good!!! MY egg was cooked exactly as I asked and I'm just realizing now that I didn't get the Dragon cheddar on it that I was supposed to, but nonetheless it was delicious. I ate it open face and the roll was really good, almost brioche-ish and it sucked up all the porky juices. It came with grits which were delicious but not over-the-top great and they were actually very heavily textured. Kind of looked like there was shredded corn in there if you know what I mean. My boyfriend got the crisp waffle and grilled peach. He said it was the best thing he ever tasted. The waffle was big and light and fluffy slightly sweet and so delicious. The Nutellla on the top was just incredible and the only complaint he had was that he would've preferred canned peaches (believe it or not) because they are sweeter and softer. I'll be going back again for dinner to have a romantic night on the town in this historic hotel that looks very quaint and cozy and a throwback to the 20s.
