If you're in search of a cool hipster spot, look no further. The lost leaf satisfies your craving for a "different" type of bar. It's literally a home that has been remodeled into a bar.
One of the best/worst things about the lost leaf is the live music. Every night there is live music and it's always a range of music types. You truly never know what you're going to get. The only downside is the music is often way too loud inside and makes it difficult to listen to let alone have a side conversation. The good thing is you can take a walk outside and still hear the music for the most part and be able to carry a conversation.
Alcohol selection is strictly wine and beer. There's always an assortment of different beers to choose from including plenty of local breweries.
It's a good spot for a chill night or if you have visitors from out of town that would get a kick out of a different atmosphere. Also it's usually a huge hit after First Friday.
