It's kinda hard to imagine being dissatisfied with this garage. As a guy who is NOT handy - I will never change my own oil etc. - I have always been at the mercy of garages and their recommendations. I had a MAJOR falling out with my dealership, who twice tried to charge me for something that was clearly covered under warranty. This only reinforced my feelings that I was always being hosed. After some research I discovered Good Guys - their Google reviews were excellent. I've been going there for over a year now and I'm still kinda blown away every time. We have two older vehicles, so there's bound to be some repairs. The two mechanics Chris And Firdy, along with Joanna are super knowledgeable, but more importantly super trustworthy. Rather than just replacing parts for the sake of a larger bill, they take the time to investigate - on two occasions now this has saved me major bucks.
Just today we had to pop by without calling beforehand to book a service call because my wife's engine light came on. They squeezed us in and got us taken care of.
Last point - I travel a lot so often find myself out on the road getting oil changes at Mr Lube. They would always upsell me on synthetic oil because my car was higher mileage, and on top of that there was always another service they were recommending. It seemed I could never get out of there without spending $200-300! Now Google Guys does my oil changes - and Firdy told me you should always use the type of oil recommended in your owners manual, regardless of mileage. So my oil changes went from about $200 down to about $50 with Good Guys.
Pleased to report we are super loyal to these guys, and as an UN-knowledgeable car guy, I no longer feel hosed. Bonus points for Freddy the cat!
