| - I rarely have time for reviews, however I am so irritated by my experience at this salon, that I decided to post this. I have been to this salon two times. My first experience was fine. I had a haircut and it was professionally done. I have long, straight hair, with no layers, so my haircuts are not complicated. Several months later I called on a Saturday morning asking for another trim with the same stylist, but I was told she was booked up, but another stylist, Ashton was available. Actually, Ashton had many available spots that day (HUGE RED FLAG IS SOMEONE ISN'T BUSY ON A SATURDAY!!) so I decided to take it. I was greeted by an incredibly young girl who proceeded to do the most unprofessional, uneven cut I have ever had. I could tell she was very inexperienced and unsure just by the way she was handling my hair. But, since I was only asking for a trim of about 1 1/2 inches, I kept thinking how hard could this be?? She managed to completely mess up what should have been a completely simple haircut!! I had pieces of hair that were at least an inch longer than others, and the sides were uneven. I didn't realize how bad the cut was until I got home and brushed it out. I called the salon that Tuesday (they are closed on Monday) and spoke to the manager/owner. He was very nice and offered to redo my hair himself. I decided to NOT go back because the bottom line is for $60 I got a horrible, unprofessional haircut. I will not be back and would NOT recommend this salon to anyone. If they are an upscale salon they should not have rookie hairstylists on the floor and charging people prices that high.
