  • On Sunday 09/04/2016 I went in to get my nose pierced. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a nice girl, but she didn't tell me her name. After telling her I wanted my nose pierced, she proceeded to have me fill out paperwork and walked to the back. Upon filling out the paperwork, I heard a man say, "Did she already pick a stud?" Or something along those lines. I didn't hear her answer. I looked up after finishing the paperwork and a man came up to ask for and scan my ID and take the paperwork, after scanning my ID he handed it back, said nothing more, and walked out the doors to smoke. I was left confused. Shortly after, the girl called me to the back (I had forgotten about supposedly choosing a stud) and was seated face to face with the man who was going to pierce my nose. After telling him I wanted to eventually change the stud to a ring, he placed a dot on my nose where I then confirmed that's where I wanted the stud to be. The piercing itself was quick and easy. On a scale of 1-10 I would rate the pain a 2. I'm not sure how often they pierce noses. After mine was finished, they didn't provide me a paper for after care like other tattoo places or piercing shops do after you get a piercing done. The man who pierced my nose mentioned to the girl that they needed to make an informational sheet to hand to people. I do have to say that they didn't have any reviews on Yelp regarding and piercings, or nose piercings for that matter, nor any photos. So I'm the first to leave my experience here. I chose this place because a friend of mine also went here in June. She was charged $30 for her nose piercing, I was charged $40. I asked about the price difference and was told $30 was their winter price, but as I said, my friend was there in June. After paying for the stud, I then asked for name of the man that pierced my nose, his name was Ryan. I wish I could have chosen a stud instead of have had it chosen for me; I would have opted for something a bit bigger. Two days after I got my nose pierced I returned to the shop because the stud kept going into the hole, and if you rubbed a finger over my nose, I couldn't feel the piercing. I kept having to push it up, only to have it continue to sink. Upon returning, there were 4-5 men at work and I asked them about my stud if it's normal to sink in, because it seems that my stud is too small as it is fitting directly into the hole, no one knew the answer to assist me. They said Ryan just left and took a picture of my nose to send and contact someone else. The person on the other end of the line told them it wasn't a clear picture and to try and contact Ryan at another time. No one seemed to know how to help me, but they agreed that that probably wasn't normal. No help. Currently, it still sinks into the hole and I continue to have to push it up. No it's not red or swollen, it's not hurting, everything feels fine, just that my stud needs to be pushed up constantly for it to stick out, only to sink again shortly after. I definitely could have had a better, more informative experience. I would have liked after care instructions, I would have liked to know the names of the people I interact with, especially with the person that is going to pierce something on me. I would have also liked better information on what to expect after having a nose piercing ex: bleeding, swelling, anything a person needs to know. And I would have liked the option to choose my stud, as this one is very, very tiny.
