  • Uniun is an interesting place for a few reasons. 1. It's actually decently clean, considering the size and amount of people there. 2. The music is often pretty good, in my humble opinion, as they don't just play Top 40. That being said, there was a decent amount of rap with a techno backdrop played later in the night. 3. The crowd is upscale, but really unpredictable in demographic. 4. The drinks are not cheap. It probably leans a little more towards lounge, especially because they have so many booths, but it gets pretty loud, so don't expect to do too much talking. The only thing I was not a big fan of was the smoking area, which was basically a small piece of fencing enclosing an area beside the outdoor line. I would expect a patio of some sort. Location isn't bad either, you can get something to eat at the Thompson Diner when you leave, which is a 5 minute walk away. Honestly, I'd come here over a lot of clubs, but I'd also take most actual lounges over the place.
