We went for a drink to Newcastle the other night. The first thing that frustrated us was the lack of parking. We had to park a ways down the street. Once we finally hiked down the street and got into the place I have to say I really liked the atmosphere. It has great pub flair and I enjoyed the paper menus. We did get seated in a booth by the window. The noise level was good. We didn't have to scream at each other like some other places we have been to. We started with nachos. They were very good but a word of warning, their home made salsa is not that great. A store bought salsa would be better. The burger was great and the fish and chips were good too. Not the best fish and chips in the world, but pretty good. Service was efficient and it was no problem getting our drinks refilled. Nice place to go with a friend.
