  • Not a well run place...BEWARE! Not a place where you want to be when grieving. We had a wonderful family dog die after 14 years on a Friday night. Thus place is not open on Saturday but they say "Call for Appointment." We called at 8am Sat morning and they patched us in to the on call person and set up a 11am appointment to bring in our deceased pet. We got there at 10:55 and waited till 11:10 and called the answering service asking what was going on. They said they should not be much longer. We waited more and called back and hey said they could not get ahold of the on call employee. He finally came at 11:24am and got out of his car and sad "Sorry Dude I lost track of time." We did not feel comfortable leaving our pet with this guy who showed up in his sweats and looked like he had a rough nite. I called back Tuesday and asked for a owner since it is a family owned business, the staff transferred me around saying the owners were not there and then a "manager" got on the phone and asked what my concerns were. I said I want to speak to a owner to voice my concern. Surprisingly a owner just came available after I would not discuss with him. She got on the phone and said she was a owner, I told her how we were treated and the circumstances, she then said " I need to speak with J#*"!% and see why or if he was not on time and he has been with me for a year and a half and would not speak that way." She also said she will check on his arrival time since the answering service time checks all calls to see if he was that late. She basically only cared about defending that employees actions. She was not nice or acting like a owner of a business usually would act in this situation when a client expresses concern. She did not apologize, express concern, condolences or any type of normal human emotion to us. Today is Friday and we still have not got a call back from this "owner" nor have had any follow-up from this business. Stay away from these folks and give your pets the dignity they deserve and not left sitting deceased in a hot car waiting for employees who are aggravated by having a job with responsibility. We found a great place near Boulder Hwy that took time with us and, had a beautiful sanctuary for us to say our goodbye's and they never rushed us out and could not be more courteous and professional. Sorry to give a bad review but this business had every opportunity to make this right but chose to dismiss the customer and focus on saving and protecting their tardy on-call employee.
