Overall the experience was very good. John was friendly and happy to be there, he definitely likes his job which makes the day go by quicker. The only negative is that staff should stick to weapons safety and training: venturing into badmouthing politicians of particular parties is hardly relevant to a CCW. If it weren't for that I would have rated it 5-stars.
Nonetheless, John gave me a pointer on holding my pistol simply by sliding one of my thumbs to a different position and instantly I painted the bulls eye with three rounds, so I'd call that very good instruction. He's clearly competent with firearms instruction as was demonstrated when he corrected minor things with each shooter's stance/grip after which accuracy immediately improved.
