  • Overall a beautiful hotel with stunning scenery and good food/drinks. The concern that we had was with the following: 1) Internet was SO slow and half of the time it didn't even work. When I called the front desk for help, they gave me some random 800 number to call. You'd think they would have this figured out being that they charge an arm and a leg? 2) House keeping: We would get a knock at around 8/830 and we'd yell to come back about 10 times. Then once while my boyfriend was in the bathroom and someone just entered without knocking to refill the mini bar! It was a total invasion of privacy. 3) Noise - our cottage was right outside a putting area so we'd have kids screaming right outside our balcony all day long. Also, the person who trims the hedges came at 730 AM and stayed for what seemed like hours. 4) Concierge takes forever to get a hold of. I mean we're talking 15-20 minutes. 5) Cost for extra activities - why in the world would it cost $30 to play tennis for an hour when all of the courts are empty? Crazy. I'd say scenery/resort/amenities are good, but service/noise/value for money are average to below.
