  • I used to love firestone; however I feel like the service at this one and others I have went to have gone down the drain. At this location you have to call to make a appointment...you can walk in; however you may or may not be serviced that day (depending if they have enough workers that day). I came here for a oil change and THOUGHT It be fast but I was wrong. Took the techs almost 3 hours to do a simple oil change. I didn't think it would take that long. I know there is other people in front of me...but still it should NOT take 3 hours for something that is 30 mins or less. I recently came to get my engine light checked (I needed my tags) and they wanted to charge me $99 for a simple answer (which I went to AutoZone after I paid the fee at Firestone for the same answer for free) The supposed problem was the oxygen sensor and Firestone said that their may be other problems. Then they wanted to charge over $500 to fix this problem. I was frustrated and just left. There was NO way I was going to payout over $500 for that. I found a different mechanic and got my engine light off and my tags and passed emissions for less than $200. Sorry Firestone...you are overpricing for something simple. I understand you have labor charges but still over $500 is ridiculous.
