  • It was a special day and in need of cupcakes I went to our usual spot, but realized they were closed as it was a Monday. I looked up a few nearby spot several others were closed and decided to give Cupcake Lane a shot since several of the reviews were from a while back. I was greeted by a friendly woman behind the counter and since there were 5 cupcakes to choose from and 5 people it was a no brainer to try each one. I liked the flavor of each one I tried, I liked the icing, but did find the cake to be a little on the dry side for my preference. We found them quite enjoyable, and it's not a bad place for a back up, but we still did prefer the cupcakes of our usual spot. The price is also moderately higher than our usual at $3 per or $15 for a half dozen. The decor was simple and easy on the eyes and the selection is similar to other cupcake shops in the vicinity. The service was friendly and I would go back in the future.
