  • Went there tonight. Should have been a red flag when we walked in on a Tuesday evening at dinnertime (5:30pm) and the place was empty. Only two stars, and that was only because of the service. We decided to try it since seeing it on Food Network. Way overpriced ($17 for ravioli and about $13-15 for my macaroni - don't remember the price, however, the macaroni wasn't really macaroni. He used the same fettucini noodles he used for the other dishes). I was going to order the gnocchi, but after finding out it was frozen and brought in by another outside kitchen, I opted out. I make my own gnocchi at home and any italian restaurant who doesn't, is a phony. Drinks are brought to your table in cans with plastic cups and ice (probably so they don't have to give you refills), which was surprising considering the prices. Very, very disappointed. My macaroni & cheese was swimming in oil (or butter)....literally swimming!!! I didn't eat mine. My husband said his ravioli was good (should be, for the price). All said, I wouldn't go back again, but at least I can say I tried it. The waitress tried to make it right by offering me a replacement or a dessert, but I opted to just eat the bread at the table. Just the two of us and after tax and tip $50 (two entrees, appetizer and two cans of coke). Waaay too much money for unhealthy italian (didn't think it was possible to make italian unhealthy...oh, well). My husband insisted on driving straight to Red Devil but instead we went to the QT for some lottery tickets and after looking behind us at the "hot food" section, decided we should have gone with the $2.00 pizza at QT and saved ourselves lots of money. We're not picky eaters either, but this was, as Guy Fieri always says, "out of bounds" and not in a good way.
