  • My friend invited me to join her in a 3 hour sewing course, after being charged an arm and leg for shortening a strap, she decided to see if she can learn to do it on her own. The studio is located at the intersection of Yonge/Summerhill, there are free and meter parking on the streets. Our instructor for the day was Juliet, and the goal was to make a clutch by the end of 3 hours. It seemed like a mission impossible, but Juliet was great at providing simple step-by-step instructions. At the end of the class, I had a clutch! So there are some imperfections, but i am quite proud. I gained another level of appreciation for seamstress profession. The class was fun and I learnt alot, highly recommend for anyone who have a sewing interest.
