  • I just had the worst experience here. I have been getting my nails done here for almost three months now. I was so happy to finally find a nail salon that I really liked. I usually take my daughter with me and she gets a mani- pedi while I get a fill for my acrylics, pedi, brow and lip wax. Needless to say I give them a lot of my business. Tonight I went in for a full set and my toes painted. My toes took forever! I figured she was having a bad day so I just brushed it off. With no top coat on my toes she started on my acrylics. My poor technician was just having an awful day. After a lot of back and forth talk with her manager and me being as passive as I am she finally opened up to me. I could tell she was seriously frazzled by an experience she had earlier and she only confirmed my suspicion. I really felt for her... But unfortunately it was all showing in her work. My nails were coming out sloppy and then she cut me with the nail file! Right in front of the manager who was hovering over her every minute. I didn't realize how bad it was until she applied the anesthetic on it and continued. She felt bad of course but my stomach was in knots! Of all people why me I thought! Praying that someone would stop this madness I let it go on for way to long. I finally got up enough courage to ask her to stop. I didn't want to add on to her day but I was in tears! And then the manager is standing beside me and says " why stop?" "It's only a little cut" ..... I could not believe it! A little cut? It's a gash! I am sitting in this chair feeling pressured to being tortured basically. The manager made sure she finished filling so I would have to pay, which I did. I surely didn't expect to pay $43 for unfinished nails ( no top coat on toes and no polish at all on my acrylics). When I questioned it she acted like I was trying to not pay at all. So disappointed in such little character this manager has. There are some great technicians here... But unfortunately because of this managers poor customer service I will never go back to Pink Lotus. I was in tears all night! I am sure I left out a bunch but I think you get the idea. P.s. My arrival time was 4:45 and I didn't leave until 6:45.
