  • I thought the catering prices for the chain Mexican places in town were high, so looked for the highest rated Madison Mexican place when I wanted catering for a birthday party. Called Taqueria Guadalajara as they were ranked favorite Mexican in Madison. So glad I did!! They were happy to recommend portion amounts and favorite dishes. I requested the order for 4 p.m. on a Sunday and it was hot and instantly ready when we went to pick it up. Their service is outstanding and everyone at the party raved about the food, especially the guacamole, gorditas and their homemade salsa. They provided an entire gallon tray full of fresh onion,lettuce, tomato, lime wedges and cilantro: like at least 20 limes! We will be back: recommend them for any event or meal. By the way, the cost was about half what the chains charge.
