Got back from a camping trip to the N Rim of the Grand Canyon to find my A/C was on the fritz.
The first company I called said they were filled up and couldn't come until tomorrow between 10A and Noon. Pretty miserable night loomed - or a hotel room.
Air Done Right answered promptly (always a plus) and scheduled a tech on the fly to be there at a 6PM to 8PM window (now, this request was at 5:15PM).
The tech arrived at 6:10PM, listened to my issue and symptoms then went to the unit I identified for him.
I observed his trouble shooting from the window after I asked if he wanted the unit on or off. He zeroed in on a start capacitor, ran the diagnostics then told me what the issue was. He said he also recommended adding a pre-start capacitor. That made sense to me if it reduced the start load, so I said go for it.
Marlon finished the installation in 10 minutes, replaced the emergency shutoff breaker and Yahoo! It began to get cooler.
