THE WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!! My son and I drove across town to see a "black" 2013 Honda Accord that was advertised online...the car was gray. The sales person Joe, said they got it on trade a couple weeks ago...it had never been cleaned up or checked out. After a brief price negotiation Joe took the offer to the GM. When he returned with the offer sheet an additional $895 for cleaning and service charges, and a $395 doc fee had been added to price. Basically, 50% our requested reduction in price. Joe explained the additional charges were necessary costs of doing business. Then the most unpleasant General Manager sat down with us. He told me point blank, "We run internet ads at low prices to get people to drive across town. Would you be here right now if you didn't see that great price online? We sell 230 cars per month, so we must be doing something right. If we didn't do it this way our lot would be empty." Can you say, unprofessional and sleazy.
