  • DO NOT GO HERE!!! ...or if you do, do not have the male technician work on you! I went for a gel manicure, and he did a horrible job. There was gel plastered all over my cuticles and skin surrounding my nail. When I complained, he shouted loudly, so the whole salon could hear, that my nails were too short... (weird, because I get gel manicures all the time from various locations around the Charlotte area and have never been told that my nails were too short) I asked him to quiet down, because he was embarrassing me, and he continued to shout that my nails were "too short, too short!" while people stared at our station. I had him remove the gel because they just looked ridiculous. He had one of the female technicians do it for me - and she apologized profusely for his unprofessional behavior. As I was walking out, he had the nerve to call me back in and actually charge me for the manicure. An hour later, my nails looked worse than when I came in, because she was not able to remove all the gel from my cuticles and from under my nails, and I was our $30 for it! Such a scam and rip-off. Go back to beauty school, dude.
