  • The ambiance at this place was awesome. Funky stuff up on the walls, snarky comments on the menus and checks, and our waiter was like, "This is Pittsburgh...of COURSE we have ranch for your chicken salad with fries." I had been talking Pittsburgh up all week with my work colleagues, and this place nailed it with what I had been telling them. The food options were awesome, and I would definitely come back to try more of them, but I ended up with the mac & cheese, which the waiter told me won the city-wide competition. I always get worried when it's been broiled or baked that it will be too dry, but right underneath that crispy topping, was the creamiest, pepper-iest mac & cheese...I was very happy with it, and it wasn't too filling for a lunch option.
