Shiki is a solid, affordable place to get a Japanese steakhouse style meal. The decor is ... interesting: once you notice that there's no pattern to the colored lamps on the ceiling, their random placement will never cease to annoy you on some primal, subconscious level. However, the servings are ample and tasty. The last time we went, I order Hibachi tuna. It was slightly overdone, but not bad for eight bucks.
