| - They open at 2pm but their kitchen opens at 2:30pm. I wish I knew that before I came here, since I arrived right at 2. The woman working did let us know before we sat down, which I appreciate. She was very friendly and attentive. They do have wifi, but it was not working while we were there.
We were asked if it was our first time here, and had the menu explained to us, which was nice. The explanations were short and simple.
Their soufflé desserts take around 40 minutes to make, which is a reasonable time for soufflés. We ordered the Vanilla Soufflé and the Baked Alaska with Bailey Icecream. Vanilla Soufflé was very good. Better than expected actually. We got it with the Strawberry sauce, but I would prefer it on it's own. It's super soft and sweet. There was quite a bit of crunchyness going on in my mouth, which I would assume is because of the sugar. It was the perfect amount of sweetness.
As for the Baked Alaska with Bailey icecream, it was sooo good as well. I wasn't too happy with their ice cream choices though. I believe they change it daily? But my only choices today were: Bailey or Chestnut. Although good, it was way to sweet for my liking. A few bites and I couldn't take it anymore.
Lastly, during the whole wait for our 2 desserts, it was quite cold in there. So cold that I had to order a hot drink halfway through. Maybe thats what they were trying to do haha. They had on their little signs on the table, Minty Mochaccino (Limited time). I love mint, and so I was sold on it. Sadly, this tasted horrible. The mint.. reminded me exactly of some chinese herbal soup/tea. Not. Good.
Overall, this place seems great for those who want a place to chat. Very quiet and comfortable during the earlier hours.
