This place is okay. Three and a half to four stars, maybe. You can get a reasonable mani/pedi here. Don't expect anything fancy. More details below.
Pros:
- It seems cleaner than many of the other mani/pedi places I've been to. (And I actually saw the employees cleaning the basins.)
- It seems they have a good selection of OPI colours.
- The actual mani/pedi is reasonably good.
- The prices are fair.
Cons:
- Like most other nail places, not really a "spa" experience--just a place with tacky mani/pedi stations and plinking piano CD, nothing fancy at all about it.
- Like most other nail places, the array of chemicals is staggering, starting with the dark blue stuff they put in the pedi water (reminiscent of toilet bowl cleaner; I'm guessing it's some kind of disinfectant).
- Like many other nail places, the employees speak with each other in their native language, which makes things awkward. Let me be honest: I always feel thoroughly disliked at these places.
- The foot "massage" is just a bit of half-hearted rubbing. For the price, I understand this.
Anywho, I got some reasonable-looking nails out of it, for a reasonable price. I'll come back here and gripe if everything chips off in a day or two.
