i came here because it was supposed to be the best in the city. i have a great dentist in new york, but i had a slight emergency one night when a filling popped out of one of my molars.
they gladly booked a short appointment for me a few days later and were pretty welcoming at first, but when i sat down the dentist began overstepping his bounds. i've had a lot of dental work done and he was in shock-- asking if i had been abused, had a drug problem, or an eating disorder. i said none of the above, but didn't want to get into my childhood dentistry traumas (i'm already nervous enough going to a dentist i don't know). he continued gaping at my teeth very rudely while he filled the cavity, and then told me he expected to see me back for some intensive work i knew i didn't need.
when i went home to my normal dentist, he took an x-ray and began laughing. not in a good way. he projected the x-ray image on the tv screen in his office and showed me that this "great toronto dentist" had left a massive air bubble, only filling the very top of the hole. now i have to get it refilled for a second time. thanks a lot, queen street dental care. i should have just let the empty cavity rot
