This was my first stay at a Hyatt Place. Based on price, facilities, food and amenities, I'd say their target market is road warriors staying at Hilton Garden Inns and Marriott Courtyards. BUT, the rooms are definitely a cut above and are pretty nice junior suites.
Each suite has a bed area open to the living area. The sofa is comfortable. A bar sink and coffeemaker with coffees and teas are provided. Vodka is not! The work desk has ample space to spread out. The only negative is that the TV is "split" between the two rooms and I couldn't view the TV from the work desk. I ended up putting my laptop on the ottoman and working from the sofa.
The bathroom area is clean. The missing amenity is body lotion. I didn't pack it as this was the first hotel in years of travel that didn't have body lotion. For a Hyatt I was surprised.
A limited selection of food can be ordered and picked up when ready. The tortilla soup was good and the burger "good enough," especially since I didn't have a car and was basically stuck at the hotel with nowhere to walk to at night. It was very dark and there are no sidewalks on the roads.
Skip the complimentary "hot" breakfast items which looked as heatlamp overdone as they tasted. Plus they looked the same for the three days I was here. There's coffee, cereal, oatmeal and fruit to get you started.
The staff is helpful and cheerful. Overall, I'd select this hotel again if in the Arrowood area. I just have remember to pack a little hotel bottle of body lotion in my TSA bag.
