  • Went to Stripsteak for our Thanksgiving dinner. Very disappointed. Although beautifully plated, our turkey and mashed potatoes were cold....not just mine but all of us at the table. The next attempt was lukewarm. We ate it because we were hungry by then and it seemed pointless to return it again. It was good but for $75 a person it had better than anything I can cook! Not so. 3 courses and the best thing was the coffee at the end. The pumpkin pie was delicious but with a crust we could not even cut through. Service was great. They politely fixed their mistakes but we will not return. Addendum: I received an answer which was polite. They looked forward to helping me with my reservation. However, I did ask if this dinner was comped. I'm sure my direct email went into her spam but I did respond and have not heard back. I rarely complain or send anything back. But at those prices, it had better be perfection.
