  • I had an amazing hair stylist for 5 years in Downtown Phoenix who had his sights set on the glitz and glam of Cali, and unfortunately for me, moved to LA to pursue his dreams. Ok, ladies (and gents), you know this is literally the WORST. It takes years to find the perfect hair stylist and I didn't think he could ever be replaced. Nevertheless the hunt was on for a new hair stylist. After a botched hair cut done by one stylist and a terrible black-Cher looking hair dye done by another... I knew I was struggling in my hair stylist match-making. I took to yelp to find a legit salon and stylist, which lead me to Salon D'Shayn. I loved that I could make my hair appointment online (hello, 21st century) and after reading every stylist's biography on their website, I ultimately decided on the lovely and talented, Jude Sheehan. She even had a discount for first time clients. #winning I have seen Jude twice now, and she is seriously a master hair artist and color connoisseur. She has given me beautiful caramel/blonde highlights twice now, with amazing hair cuts both times which leave my hair bouncy and healthy looking. She does a great job translating what I mean when I say, "I want to keep the length, but I want you to cut off the dead ends. I like the highlights so I want you to do the same thing but lighten it a little bit." Haha. Jude is great. I give her 5 well-deserved stars!! If you're looking for a new stylist (which you are or you wouldn't be reading this), go see Jude! She will take great care of you and your beloved locks! I didn't think it could be done but I officially have a new favorite hair stylist!
