Eh, you get what you pay for.
Positives:
- Great location in the middle of the strip.
- the nightly price was one of the lowest for its location
- check-in and bell service. they were really nice, very helpful and knowledgable. over the course of our stay, we talked to 3-4 different people and they were all very nice
- 3535 bar. We checked in, and walked right over to the bar. consistency of the drinks we low (we ordered two of the same drinks, one couple came later so it was a different bar tender, and one was made with much less alcohol than the other - we could tell by color and taste)
- room was clean and the bathroom was nicer than we expected.
- Nook cafe. open late on the weekends... nice b/c there are no restaurants open late in the hotel (unlike others that have food courts) and they have legit (well, legit for vegas) food. it's past the elevators so keep walking.
Con:
- Elevators!!! really slow and we were there from Sunday-Tues, not busy times. There are elevators around the corner if you look for them, but those get busy too.
- towels and sheets are low budget.. they are rough and not the best (again, you get what you pay for)
- bedding - a pet peeve of my husband: they don't tuck in sheets so within an hour of sleeping all of the sheets are bundled up by your leg or waist. pillow are really tall too so i slept without them the first night and then used a sweater the last night.
- construction: they started it at 9AM. really? and they start vacuuming on the floors at 9AM as well.. so much for sleeping in.
