Decent trail will have your legs and lungs working a bit and breaking a sweat. The only issue was on the way there the trail is easy to follow. On the way back suddenly the trails splits in 2 paths that you don't notice on the way there. Take the path to the left to get back to the trailhead. I'm not sure where the other one goes. They might even connect at some point.
Otherwise the trail is good for a light workout and to just get out of the house. The mines and spring at the end are pretty cool too. I saw quite a few mule deer on this trail that my dogs tried to chase them. Make sure to keep your dogs on a leash. The bush is thick on this trail and it would be easy to loose a dog if they took off chasing something.
