  • I just bought a Vespa scooter. NOT at Ridenow Surprise. Their Out-The-Door price was 50% higher ($1700) than the advertised price of $3499 on a three-year old "new" scooter. The fees, were for the most part, ridiculous; the legitimate ones (destination and doc fee) were extremely high. At a Vespa dealer in Tucson the only fees were destination fee and Tucson City tax. No dealer prep, documentation fee (although that was because I am registering it myself in a different state) or any of the other add-ons Ridenow added. Additionally, after getting an OTD price via email, I got a phone call from a salesman giving a quote even higher than the written quote. Buyers of new vehicles do NOT need to pay all these additional costs, and honest dealers do not charge for them. Finally, they just quit communicating. Buyer beware at this place!
