I visited the Henderson Pavilion last weekend for a showing of Shrek the Musical. I had bought the tickets in December as a Christmas gift for someone. Please don't judge me, Shrek is love. Shrek is life. There are two parking lots from what I gathered, one smaller one north of the pavilion and then the main south parking. I parked in the smaller one thinking I could beat the traffic. I found parking pretty easily, only thing was I had to walk around to the front.
Entering was easy, and they didn't make me get rid of my water bottle. Yay! Walking in we saw a ton of kids rolling down the hills in the grass. I was tempted to join in. We had seats in row B seats 16-17 in one of the middle sections. Great view. The seats? Quoting the fabulous Simon Cowell, "it's a no from me." They're made of hard plastic so be prepared. It's more than a good idea to bring a blanket, it'll add cushion and keep you warm once the sun goes down.
The actual show had a wonderfully built set and the actors were great. I love a good musical. I'll definitely try and check out some of the other shows here!
