  • Now that I posted my picture on my profile- I have to be careful with my Viet restaurant rating. ;) Da Vàng---This restaurant is older than me!!! I think every Vietnamese in Phoenix know Da Vàng and have been to Da Vàng at least once! People don't know this but personally the best dish at Da Vàng are Bánh hi cho tôm, mì hát co, mì xào dòn hi sn and bò cun lá nho - i must warn that this is for authentic Viet food lovers only. If it is your first time at Da Vàng - I suggest the Ph or Bún Ch Giò Tht Nng are your best bets. I love coming to Da Vàng on Saturday to get a warm cup of freshly brew soy milk (sa u nành) and pork buns (bánh bao) - in the morning these two are the best combo. For coffe lovers- try the Viet coffee - it's brew French style =) Do not come to Da Vàng expecting a clean restaurant and good service- because you will be very disappointed . most people there are regulars and can take jokes from the guys waiting on them; however, they are much nicer to the foreigners ;)
